With over 30 years experience as a professional sculptor, Bets Holland Lundeen has recently changed her career focus to portrait painting. Lundeen's artistic training began in her hometown of Norman, OK and continued as an art major at Hastings College in Nebraska where she learned the process of casting bronze. To prepare for her transition to oil portraiture, she studied with such notables as Schmid, Guzik, McGraw, Kintzler, Burdick, among others. She is a member of the Portrait Society of America and continues to study to refine her technique. Through her long career as an artist she has gained national attention through exhibitions from Beverly Hills to New York City where she has won numerous awards.
